Falling Leaves Literacy Center

20161012_085618.jpgThis is a new literacy center that I have added into my rotation at school! I love the look and versatility of this activity. You can work on letters or sight words, play as a whole group or individual centers, and use the re-usable works mats or use pencil and paper. So many different options all in one pack!falling-leaves-preview20161011_100529.jpgIncluded in this download: 4 Fun fall-inspired literacy centers that focus on letter and sight word recognition.

This pack includes:
*1 page instructions on how you can use this pack. There are 4 great ideas on how you can use all the items in this pack,
* 1 tree work mat,
* 1 sight word recording sheet for sight word sentence writing activity,
* 1 write-the-room recording sheet (can also be used with sensory bins),
* 2 poem print outs that you can sing with your class,
* 26 letter leaves,
* 40 pre-primer Dolch word list leaves,
* 5 blank leaves.

The students have loved working with the Falling Leaves work mat and have used the letter leaves. I encourage them to say the letter they are placing on the tree, make its sound and try to find two words that begin with that letter.

This pack is available for download from my Teachers pay Teachers store for $3.00!
